We have a general list of items you or your loved one will need during the treatment stay. It brings a huge amount of relief knowing that families do not have to wait for our scheduled volunteer van service to get a ride to or from the hospital, or even worse, have to cross Watertown Plank Road in front of our building — many times in the dark with significant traffic. As we celebrate our 30th year of Ronald McDonald House serving families with critically ill or injured children, the completion of the pedestrian sky bridge over Watertown Plank Road signifies a great achievement. In order to make your stay at Children's Wisconsin as easy as possible, we created a list of hotels, motels, and other options to help out-of-town families plan where to stay in Milwaukee.
Where to Stay
Please make plans for the care of your other children before coming to the hospital. One adult may stay overnight with their child in the hospital. A single sleeper couch is in most patient rooms for one parent or grandparent to stay. You will need to bring your own personal care items and sleepwear.
